Ondo State is a nodal state. Strategically located as a gateway to agricultural areas in the north and the transport hub for resources to the west, the state offers natural geographic advantages for logistics and transportation. AIRPORT INFRACTRUCTURE

Akure, home to a fully operational commercial airport, with 30 minutes travel time to Lagos and 50 minutes to Abuja, is one of Nigeria’s 12 designated cargo airports capable of handling perishable goods. It’s also, Covering an expansive 32.8 square kilometers, Akure airport is also one of the largest local airports in Nigeria.

This cargo airport can serve eight neighboring states when fully developed reducing goods travel time to Lagos by an average of 4 hours.
